Troy Polamalu needs a bounceback season

PITTSBURGH STEELERS
2007 RECORD: 10-6

Overview: Finishing the 2007 season with the same record as the Cleveland Browns, the tiebreaker lofted the Pittsburgh Steelers to the top of the AFC North and into the postseason.  2008 brings a bit of a different situation as several key members of the offensive line and linebacking corps have gone elsewhere, while their possession receiver in Hines Ward is a year older.  The Steel Curtain has a tough road ahead of them in 2008, but they do have one of the best quarterbacks in the league.  Can they capitalize on his prime?

CLEVELAND BROWNS
2007 RECORD: 10-6

Overview: Shocking the world after their first week implosion against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Cleveland Browns rolled off 10 wins in the next 15 weeks and barely missed a playoff slot thanks to a tiebreaker that favored the Tennessee Titans.  Already boasting one of the best offenses in the game, the Cleveland front office made several key moves to address the defense this past offseason.  Will it be enough to lift the Browns to the top of the division?

Carson Palmer leads the way for the Cincinnati Bengals

CINCINNATI BENGALS
2007 RECORD: 7-9

Overview: Talk about a fall from grace.  With one of the best turnover ratios in the league only a year prior, the Cincinnati Bengals could not stop anyone on the defensive side of the ball in 2007.  This situation led to several losses, players pointing fingers, and a disappointing season all around.  This year hopes to be different for the men in stripes (no pun intended), as they still have one of the best quarterbacks in the league that is throwing the ball to two premier receivers.  The defense is still a bit on the questionable side, but a progressing group of cornerbacks coupled with some veteran leadership should allow for modest improvement.

Ray Lewis and the Baltimore Ravens defense will be tough

BALTIMORE RAVENS
2007 RECORD: 5-11

Overview: From one of the best teams in the AFC to quite a collapse, the Baltimore Ravens have to deal with a defense that is considered to be aging, coupled with an offense that is still looking for someone effective under center.
